Crack the Egg!
Why the Easter egg is a symbol of the hidden divine life within you
The egg is an ancient, ancient symbol. It symbolizes the infinite potential of life. Inside the egg is a mystery. We don’t know what’s in there. When we go way back in history, this was indeed a mystery. And when people saw a woman become pregnant and her belly started to look like an egg, and then out of that egg came the most marvelous thing ever—a new human being—we did not know how that happened. But it sure happened.
Later, we figured out how. But it’s all symbolized by this. This is a cosmic egg. This is where it all comes from. And it’s a mystery. This is why it’s been used as a symbol.
This particular egg has a wonderful surprise inside.
Isn’t that beautiful? That’s like the golden light of Christ. That is what is within us. When we open the mystery that we are, this is what we find—this beautiful golden light.
So I hope this Easter season is something special for you, that you can go within, take the time—really take the time. Go within. Like Jesus said, when you pray, go into your closet. Don’t do it to be seen. Go into your closet, which is to say, go within.
When you go in there, look. But do not look out there. Look within. Just back up into it. Find out where you come from. What is the source of your being? Follow that. Follow it all the way back in. And when you do, you will crack the egg, and this is what you will find.

And really make this a priority. This is the time of year when it’s all happening. You have all of this abundant life energy just burgeoning, busting out at the seams all over. Take that energy. It is happening in you. It is rising up in you. Take that energy and turn it within. Turn it back upon itself. Take the wire and kind of plug it back into its own source, so to speak, so that that energy will transform you.
That is what you are looking for. Transformation.
The only way you can get transformation is through the direct experience of your own God-being, that source of you within you. That is where it is.
So good luck, and keep at it. Do not stop. Do not stop until you find it. Just look, keep looking, and find it.
